We searched Whangarei and it’s surrounds for the perfect setting for our free range farm and eventually found it just west of Whangarei in the village of Poroti. We knew instantly that it was right. The mature native trees, the natural water, the volcanic soil and the space confirmed it.
Our emphasis was to create an environment for the ultimate in hen health and wellbeing. Therefore, what followed was much planning, investment in infrastructure and attention to detail. But it has been worth it, our hen farm is just as we envisioned with wide open spaces with grassy paddocks, trees for shade and shelter and top of the range all new housing. There are no gimmicks or closed doors. We are real and this is our passion.
